Hi,
I have an Audiovox CDM8900 cell phone that I am selling. Can someone tell me how I can completely remove all my information from it as well as my cell phone number? Thanks, Dana

Pull the battery while the phone is on, wait 3 seconds then re insert and power up the phone.

The 8900 did not have a quick reset. Check under phone settings and security settings to see if there is a quick way, but it generally just restored to factory settings without deleting contacts. Contacts can usually be deleted once you access the contact list. As far as taking your number out - as long as you activate another phone, the 8900 won't work for phone calls. Your number will still be displayed as the number on the phone until another number is activated on it. If you find manual programming instructions, you can change it to something like 123-456-7890, but don't put a real number in as it may affect someone else's service. Even if your cell number is listed, someone would have to find out a bunch of personal information to be able to access your account. If they want it that bad, they will most likely find another way to find it.
