Exchanging phone within 30 day period.

I have purchased a blackberry tour 9630 on 11/4, I would like to switch to the Motorola Droid but how much extra would I pay in order to do so? Also I'm not sure whether or not it costs to activate a new phone but if I did switch to the Droid would I pay another activation fee?

You would need to pay a $25-$35 restock fee depending on where you got it.

I ordered the blackberry online from verizon, can I just bring it into a local store? Also is there any extra activation fees?

I would suggest that you call customer service, *611. They are very helpful and can answer all your questions.

Your line is already activated, you would simply be switching phones - no charge for the activation, but there likely will be a restocking fee of $35 or so to make the switch.

Make sure the store is a corporate store, rather than an "autorized retailer"  or reseller.  They will be more able to work with you to get you the phone you want under the Worry-free guarantee.  Be aware that once you switch to the Droid, THAT's the phone you will keep.  You are only allowed to swap out one time in the 30 days, and the second phone is the keeper.
