New to the boards here. Might be switching to Verizon soon. Can someone recommend a phone for me that meets the following:
Best Messaging Keyboard (or dual keyboards)
Battery Life More Than 12 Hours
IM Providers: AIM, Google Talk, MySpace, FaceBook, Yahoo
Downloadable Games/Apps
MP3 Player
BlueTooth
No Higher Than $300
I DO NOT want another BlackBerry (had my share of constant problems with them on T-Mobile)
Easy to use one-or two-handed
I'm only using it on the Nationwide Messaging Plan ($34.99), no voice. E-Mail is $5 extra per month but the details of the plan say email is included
I have looked at the following phones:
LG enV3 (on recommendation of a friend who has the enV2)
Samsung Intensity
LG Versa
Samsung Rogue
LG enV Touch
HTC Touch Pro 2
HTC Ozone
Samsung Saga

LG enV3: great keyboard, good, sturdy feel to the keys. Front display is still a little too small. A little difficult to navigate. Comes in two colors ![]()
Samsung Intensity: good phone for the price. Basic slider, qwerty. The navigational pad is a little confusing (it's round like the Rival)
LG Versa: nice touch screen, better than Dare. Has better mobile web browser. No longer comes with qwerty keyboard.
Samsung Rogue: have it. keyboard a little difficult to get used to. browser is great, toggle between 5 webpages at once. easy access to facebook, myspace, youtube, photobucket. requires data package
LG enV Touch: i personally don't like this phone. internal screen is huge if you're into watching videos or playing games. easy to navigate. requires a data package.
HTC Touch Pro 2: gross, requires 29.99 data package
HTC Ozone: good pda. requires 29.99 data package
Samsung Saga: old, okay, old, kind of crappy, old

I got the enV3 for the same reasons![]()
A major deciding point for me that enV3 is smaller and has longer battery life than enV Touch.
enV3 also had the highest megapixels at 3 megapixels compared to other phones that were available (excluding smart phones). I think it is a solid choice.
