“Meet The Expert" Sessions Beginning March 31st

ID picture2.jpgWith the innovative, new ideas you have been giving us on the Verizon Idea Exchange, the interesting comments on our blogs, and of course the lively discussions amongst peers on our Verizon Community Forums, here at Verizon we are recognizing every day how much we appreciate our community members.  We can see that you want a place to talk with Verizon and other Verizon customers about your Verizon products and services that tie so closely into your everyday life.  That is why this month we are bringing you our very first “Meet The Expert” session right here on the Verizon Community Forums.


The “Meet The Expert” sessions is where you will be able to have “real-time” discussions with Verizon product managers and executives.  These experts will be sitting on our community waiting to see what posts come in and give the most appropriate instant replies:smileyhappy:


You won’t want to miss these opportunities to “chat” directly with these product experts. This will be your chance to troubleshoot issues and learn more about the Verizon products and services that you have and love.  You can always expect a blog post announcing the next upcoming "Meet The Expert" session and a notification with further details under our Community Announcements section.


You may have noticed a “new neighbor” on our Community.  Lorena_VZ has been poking around the Verizon Community taking in ideas you have on Verizon email and participating in discussions on the “Verizon Email” board.


 Lorena  Mccalister will be our first “Meet The Expert” guest.  Lorena has worked for Verizon in marketing/product management roles for Consumer and Enterprise segments for fifteen years. She is currently the product manager for the Verizon Message Center, Verizon’s new “email and more” application.  She is responsible for making sure the Verizon Message Center meets Verizon customer needs today and in the future.


Lorena joined the community because not only does she love all her Verizon services (FiOS Internet, Digital Voice, FiOS TV, and Verizon Wireless), but also she wants to fully understand Verizon customers’ reactions to our products and services so she can work to align our application’s coming improvements/enhancements with our customer’s needs. Overall, she is extremely impressed with the camaraderie and helpfulness of Verizon Community members!


Just because we like to include personal tidbits on all community spotlights, I asked her what she does on her “off the Verizon and Verizon Community time.”


She shared that she enjoys playing tennis and visits to Napa for wine tasting.  Her regular routine includes chauffeuring her three kids around to their activities and managing her family calendar.
