Need Help? Let the Verizon Troubleshooter Handle It!

verizon troubleshooter.jpgA friend recently told me about a customer of a security company that her brother works for. A customer had installed a home security system.  Soon after in the middle of the night, the alarm went off.

 

The customer could do nothing to stop the alarm as he’d misplaced the manual, and the support center’s phone number was busy. This was, of course, very disappointing to his neighbors.  Eventually, the issue got resolved but it would have been nice if there was a way he could have resolved this himself.

 

Here, at Verizon, we realize you are on a tight schedule and we know there are many of you that like to just get right in and try to solve your own issues.

 

Customers now have a new tool called the “Verizon Troubleshooter” where they can diagnose, fix, and report issues with Verizon Phone, FiOS TV, or Internet service. With a few clicks of the mouse customers can solve most problems quickly and easily. All without picking up a phone.

I cannot edit my "personal webspace".   I can view but not edit.  When I use Safari as a browser, I cannot edit.

When I use IE, i can.

 

My needs require that i use Safari.  Who do in access my personal webspace to edit.

#1 Make sure that you are using a supported web browser

 

http://www22.verizon.com/about/privacy/browser/

 

#2 If you do not want to upload the pages with your web browser, there is a FTP

 

a) http://www2.verizon.net/myaccount/manage/sitebuilder/ftp_info.asp

 

b) Be sure to use HTML Editor OR a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) HTML Editor on your computer, to edit the web page(s).
