I live less than 1000ft from one of verizons cenral office and is currently having a download speed of 1 mbit and upload of 11 mbit. This problem started occuring since yesterday. I have hard reset router with no luck.
What type of device are you using to measure your speed? Mac? PC? Etc?
How is that device connected to the Internet? Ethernet cable to your router or wifi? To determine if a speed problem is likely with the Verizon system or something local to you it's important that you be connected via hardwire and not via wifi.
How are you measuring those speeds you reported?
And if you are connected via hardwire/Ethernet, do you have more that one device you can run a speed test on?
