COAX CAT5 CAT5E

I'm wiring two rooms for FIOS TV service. What wiring should I use in these rooms COAX, CAT5 or CAT5E? These two rooms will run back to the attic where I will use a  a 3 way splitter to connect these cables plus my internet cable and have one out bound cable (what should that cable be COAX, CAT5 or CAT5E) to the ONT.

For television service, coax output is used from the ONT to your TVs.

For Internet service, you can use either the COAX or CAT5.  Running CAT5 gives you the option of using your own router; if coax is used for Internet, then you're limited to Verizon's own router (or buying an expensive MoCA bridge to use another router).

If it were me, I would run 1x coax + 1x CAT5e to the spot where the Verizon ONT will be installed, with 1x coax to every TV room and 1x CAT5e to every room where you want wired ethernet.

Coax cable are the best one for the TV. It will be the best one when compared with the other two. They are used in the networking side and some connectors and jacks shoulb be use on that.
