Cannot get Sprint Airave booster to work with FIOS

I get a weak cell phone signal in my office so Sprint sent out an Airave which connects to the router and is supposed to boost the cell phone signal in home by converting it into a VOIP signal as I understand it.  The problem is that the jitter is too great over my FIOS for the VOIP to work.  Is there something that I can do to reduce teh jitter? Would DSL work better?

I contacted Sprint per your suggestion and they had configured the Airave improperly.  They reconfigured and it works fine now.  Thanks for your suggestion and help!

DSL is unlikely to work better than FiOS, there is generally much more bandwidth available from FiOS than there is from DSL.  In any case the maximum data rate according to Sprint for an Airave is about 153kbps, and typical for a single call is about 40kbps. However keep in mind that there are many different routes a packet can take to get from point A to point b, so differences on the order of  several hundred milliseconds in latency are common. 'Jitter' on the order of several hundred milliseconds is a fact of life for domestic traffic, and can be significantly higher on international internet traffic.

You might want to ask Sprint the name or IP address of the server the Airave connects too and then run a Trace Rout to see if there are significant bottlenecks upstream from you. Most FiOS connections can quite reliable streaming video, which requires far more bandwidth than voice.

And for those who are curios, the Airave connects via ethernet cable, not Wi-Fi...

What is the configuration for this... I am having problems connecting my airave.

GPS comes in a solid green, but the broadban and the mobile are blinking green for about 2 hours then the mobile goes amber blinking and the broadban is still blinking green.  I have done about every type of configuration they have in the user manual.  Any help please?

Have Airave and never worked for over 4 weeks. Called Sprint many times noo they claim I need to get non verizon router and use Fios as bridge.  If I do that I will lose Fios TV features.  Anyone using Fios got Airave working? & how???

Thanks bunches
