My cell phone refuses to connect to my network. I had no problems in the past, but for the last week, it will not connect. I tried turning it off, taking out the battery, hoping that would help, but it did not. I tried forgetting the password & re-typing it (both upper and lowercase (which one is correct? Do they both work?) but all I get is "obtaining IP address from..." and then it eventually goes to disabled.
My laptop connects to my network just fine.
I have not changed any setting on my phone or router.
I have the MI424WR Router.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Do you know if you are using WEP or WPA?
you can try to push the pin on the back of the router and reset the router to factory defaults.
If that doesn't work you may want to change the wireless security to WPA2, a more secure wireless method highly recommended.

Woke up this morning & my phone had reconnected to my network while I was sleeping. I am baffled. Haha!
I am on WAP, I will try the WPA2, if/when it happens again.
Thanks!
