Hi
I have a PC right next to the Verizon STB (the HD one w/o DVR) and I was wondering if Verizon can enable the ethernet on the back of the STB so I can plug in the PC and get it networked w/ the rest of the net ?
Thanks,
HC

The Nic, USB, Firewire, and esata ports are not enabled. And if the nic was enabled what you are asking I sure would not work. There would be a small chance, but I don't see them creating a driver to do that.

AFAIK, the STB should be able to act like a bridge between the MOCA and the ethernet. That's what I am interested in. Anyone thinks it is possible ? Maybe someone from Verizon ?
Thanks,
HC

This would be great I have an XBOX 360 next to my STB and I have to run a 100' cable to my router. Wireless sucks on the 360.

If the port was made active the likelihood is that the port would be incoming, more like a PC, and not like a routers outgoing ports.
