At the moment, I believe no one really has an answer to whether or not the lack of Gigabit on the Rev. F is due to the firmware or if it's due to the hardware under the hood. I believe Verizon may have ordered the Rev. F slightly different in thar regard to what the ActionTec website specs it at.

Rev. F supports only 10/100. 10/100/1000 is an extra cost option from the manufacturer that VZ elected not to include.
