FIOS wiring complaint

I am in a rental apt. and my landlord set up for the building to be wired for Fios yesterday (12/11/13). I came home from work and both my step ladders had been used and were covered in mud inside my house (in my hallway where I don't usually keep or want muddy things sitting around). If the installers needed to use the ladders for installation I don't mind that, but I expect them to be left in the same condition they were found...not covered in mud.

This is a users forum, so we can only sympathize, not help.  Your best action would be to inform your landlord and ask him to file a complaint Verizon.

Ok I've been a verizon customer for over 15 years, would have appreciated better customer service. Additionally I will not be subscribing to FIOS despite my apartment now being FIOS ready thanks to your stellar reply. One less verizon customer I suppose is no big deal to you.

I would take the issue up with your landlord.  Did he let them use your ladders?  Were you informed the ladders would be used?  I understand your frustration but maybe your landlord told the VZ folks he would take care of cleaning them.  There could be more to the story!!!!

Hello aweller14,

This community is meant mainly for peer-to-peer support. If you need to talk to a Verizon representative, you should contact customer service directly.

I doubt it is a big deal to him.  You don't seem to understand that the people answering your complaint on here are just customers like you.

Haha no I had no idea. I googled "how to file a complaint with Verizon" and it sent me here as well as provided me with examples of complaints posted here in the past and customers being connected with representatives who could help them. I guess the point of this forum has changed and no one told google :). Lighten up and be glad your things aren't covered in mud thanks to verizon!! But if you know how to file a complaint I would love to know; you would be smarter than google!

Google may be "all knowing," but it is not always right.

As a bunch of us users and one Verizon moderator have mentioned; if you want to talk to Verizon, you need to contact them directly.  The "contact us" link at the bottom of these web pages will take you to a page that provides phone and chat options.

If those ladders where mine and I didn't want other people using them without my permission, I'd keep them locked up.  If they were locked up and somebody unlocked them without your permission, I'd say your gripe is with that person not Verizon.

Good luck.
