Hi:

It seems that since I moved, I can't FTP into either of the two web sites I help maintain.

How do I fix this situation.

I checked with my providers (2 different ones) and the problem is not on their end.

I checked with my anti-virus provider and the problem is not thwht their product so by process of elimination it must be a problem with FIOS.

Any ideas?

you probably need to port forward.  Do the two walk throughs, and then test it.

Also check your firewall settings in your PC

what kind of an error are you getting.

The Verizon rep told me that FTP access is no longer supported.

FTP is no longer supported to maintain the FREE Verizon supplied user websites.  It is however still allowed for Payed web sites or sites located elsewhere.
