Are there any plans for Verizon to expand their fiber optics network into Ohio, specifically the Mansfield 44094 region?
Ohio I believe is owned by Frontier now. Given that's the case, Frontier isn't focused on expanding Fiber Optic services except for areas that were already planned to get it. Their main focus is getting those who are not connected to DSL because they cannot get it, onto DSL and now, attempting to fix up their saturated points of the network. If Frontier wishes to embrace Fiber connectivity (and I really think they should once they get their assets in line and figure out the places that would benefit from it, such as Rochester NY where their HQ is), then perhaps that would be a question to ask the company itself.
