@johnslyjr wrote:I am having the same problem with my new tablet in selecting a WiFi network. My Verizon router says ESSID. For the WiFi network on my tablet I have tried entering ESSID and SSID for the network name in both caps and lower case. The tablet says "cannot find this network". I have my User ID from the router and my password but I can't get past the network name.

Look at the value after "ESSID." For example, you'll see something like this:
ESSID: WYX4T
WYX4T is your network name.
To make things easy, just use your device's auto-scan function and sit next to the router while setting up the device. Your router will show up as the network with the strongest signal.
