The amount of bandwidth that is available when both of you are online depends on what both of you are running and how the data is being consumed. Starcraft II, unless it's patching itself with Blizzard's huge updates doesn't use much and you probably won't notice it running at all. Netflix on the other hand, you will notice when it's streaming in HD but it won't put too big of a dent in the available bandwidth. 3-4Mbps is all it will use.

Since the Wired portion of the connection is working just fine, I would place bets in there being wireless interference. Using a Pc with a Wireless card, download a tool called "InSSIDer" by Metageek and use it to scan for any wireless network in your area. It will output the results it obtains in a nice graph. If your network is in the same channel space as another network, try to change it to a less occupied or free channel. Channels 1, 6, and 11 are the best to use since they are non-overlapping, but if you must use the other channels to improve the speeds, by all means do so.

You can change the Wireless channel from http://192.168.1.1/ . The default Username and Password for the router should be the username of admin, and the password being the router's serial number (found on a sticker on the bottom of the router). From there, visit the wireless settings, disable automatic channel scanning, and set the channel to the desired channel. If an option exists to preserve your channel selection, check it and then save the settings. From here, test the Wireless to see if the speed has improved.

If Ethernet is an option to use, I would strongly suggest keeping what you can put on Ethernet on there, especially with higher speed connections such as FiOS. You'll get a far better level of Quality of Service, especially with games and you'll have ample capacity for additional speed in the future.
