I have a verizon router installed in my home. It sits an a room in the back corner of the house and I can't move it from there. What is the best way to extend the range of the router so it reaches the upstairs on the other side of the building? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I am sure someone here will know the answer, it would help to know the make and model number of your present router.

The easiest way is to install a Wireless Access Point (WAP) in another part of your home.
The problem of course is connecting it.
Possible connection methods (in order of preference)
1) Wired (cat5)
2) Coax (MOCA bridge)
3) Powerline networking
4) Wireless bridging (not supported in the Actiontec)
