You don;t need a static IP address.

Use a service such as dyn.com or no-ip.com.

They will give you a DNS name such as mynetwork.dyndns.org and will keep track of your dynamic IP address.

Then just create the port forwards you need for your cameras in the router.

As Anti-phish says a dynamic dns service will fix it for you

Realistically so long as you don't switch the router off you will retain your ip address anyway.  Mine has been the same for nearly a year now - actually to the last snow storm power outage b4 Christmas last year.

This is true. I have ip cams on my house and in the 4 years I've had fios the only time my ip changes is if there is a power outage and the power is out for a long time which releases the dhcp lease and gives me a new one when the power comes back on. I will occasioanlly check my ip address just to make sure and if for some reason it does I can just go into my program and update it.

Make sure your ports are open on the fios router settings. By default 80 and 8080 are closed. I learned this when I was having problems with port fwding for the first time. Check them under remote administration.

Yes.

if you go into your router to the port forwarding page you will find a couple of Verizon PF rules for each of your STB's
