I have a custom system with an EVGA Mobo and built in network. In Home Agent installs fine on Windows 7 ultimate 63 bit, but when you optimize the internet connection using this tool I find a bothersome issue. My network delays on reboot for over 1 minute then works fine. The speed is better, but the network initialize in the taskbar just spins and spins for 1 minute before it works. I have reformatted and did not install this In home Agent this time. Any hints on where I can find another way to optimize my internet speed? I should be 35/35. Thanks.

You don't need to install the in home agent in order to run the optimizer.

I dont know if it works on windows 7 as I have never tried it. But a tool I use to optimize my connection (windows Vista and XP) is DR. TCP
www.dslreports.com/drtcp get and run the file drtcp021.exe
The only settings I change are...
TCP Receive window ---- 129024
MTU ---- 1500
I save those settings on my adaptor and my connection runs very smoothly. No need to install anything with this.
