I received an e-mail from Lynx Research for a "FiOS Customer Survey". Is this legitimate?

Legitimate? I don't know.  But, as a rule I ignore surveys unless they come directly from a company I do business with.  Many surveys are designed to learn something about the person filling it out.  Seemingly innocuous questions can reveal a lot.
