My browser has been hijacked to go to the MSN/Verizon home page. How can I get my home page back to the regular home page? I have tried the home page setting under Internet Options -> General, but this does not resolve the hijack. I am comfortable editing the registry if this is what I need to do.

This is what I would do, if I were you.

#1 I would go to http://www.dslreports.com/forum/cleanup

#2 Before posting, I would read Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance

That is only an example.

Please seek help from some sort of professional (or professionals) who can help clean-up your computer.

What is the regular home page?

What is the MSN/Verizon home page? do you have the url for that? and is that what shows in the question below?

what did it show under tools, internet options, general, home page  ?

Did you check for a host file entry for whatever url you are arriving at or for whatever is in the home page entry under tools, internet options, general, home page  ?

set  verizon as my Home Page

I would like my page when I sign in to go straight to my email.. 

I would like some assistance with this..
