Do I have to have a technician come to my house to move my router? I need to move my desktop computer to another room in teh house. The room it is currently in has the battery box and the router. I cant find anywhere online on this.

you get internet through the coax cable. What that means for you, is that you can technically move the router to whatever room you want as long as it has access to a working coax cable that is connected to the FiOS System (if you have working fios tv in a room, then it's safe to say you have access to a working coax cable that is connected to the fios system)
You may need a coax splitter (5-1000mhz) to accomplish this, if there isn't one already in the room. This will enable you to move the router closer to your computers for better access
