I need to move my router out of my basement. Can I just use a splitter and connect my router to my FiOS TV coax cable? If I can't, is there any way to move the router without having to have someone come to my house?
Thanks,
Scott

You can move your router anywhere you have an active coax connection. You will need a 1Ghz rated splitter if the connection is already is use by an STB.
