No word on whether these speeds will cost more or if upgrades will be automatic.

I don't remember them ever being automatic in the past; most likely there will be similar bundles, with a required agreement.

Yep. Don't sign that special bundle offer that expires June 2nd. I suspect I will have to pay, but new customers will get it with their bundle. No commitment, more power.

I guess they're not automatic.
I checked my current package and found that if I upgraded to a higher speed than the one we have now my package would cost $10 a month LESS.

From what to what? I had that happen one time and I believe it was Premier 20/5 to Extreme 25/25 and a new two year commitment. The price went down! It was great!!![]()

It sounds like it's worth looking into. ![]()

I have 15 / 5 FIOS service but I am getting 25 /5 speeds consistently.
When did that change???

Not too long ago I'd say. Probably within the last month and a half to two months. A relative of mine with 15Mbps/5Mbps used to clock at 20Mbps/5Mbps even hardwired to their ActionTec MI424WR Rev. F router. Last time I stopped by their home, they did nothing to their Internet and it was seen running at 26Mbps/5Mbps wirelessly and wired. So, I'd say a secret speed boost is going around once again if we're seeing consistency on such upgrades.
