Installed my new Panasonic Viera plasma televison over the weekend, and set the built-in Wi-Fi to Automatic. The television recognizes my network, but insists upon creating a 169.x.x.x IP address; all my other devices on my FIOS home network use the 192.68.x.x format. Anyone else run into this, and you did you correct it? Is there something I should be setting in my router?

169.x.x.x is what most devices default to if they cannot connect.
Try changing your router to use WPA2. I believe others have had trouble using WEP for Panasonic TV's. You will also have to change any of your other wifi devices as well to wpa2.
