Using ActionTec 1424WR Rev I router with 1 year-old Lenovo Intel i3 laptop (win 7) and wired connection.

After booting laptop, getting the laptop network connection to recognize the internet takes about 70 seconds.

Yes, that is not a long time, but I would expect it to take 30 seconds at a maximum.

I have installed the latest Intel network adapter driver.

Have you tested this with another PC/Laptop?

Does it take that long too?
