Router restarts itself?

I have an Actiontec MI424WR Router, and for some reason it restarts itself every once in a while (30 minutes to an hour).  When it restarts, it's a full powerdown (all of the lights, including the power light, go off).  Any ideas on what's causing this?

I was running a Steam server at the time, so that was the problem.  I am confused, however, how I can fix this.  I need to use the router that Verizon supplied because I am recieving my internet connection through coaxial cable, not ethernet.  Are there any settings I can change in the router, or even my server?
