Packet 50% packet loss on hop 3, 130.81.180.152.
I have tried to call about this and have been tossed around to many different people and they all just want me to restart my freakin modem/router. Its really frustrating when its not my issue..
Any one have a magic number i can call for a high level of techsupport?

This is a server that is NOT designed to respond with I high priority to ICMP (pings, etc) to you and is probably meaningless. Pretty much the second Verizon server that you go to. Do you get the same poor END POINT response when trying tests to other sites, e.g www.google.com.

He has packet loss going all the way to the end of the trace. While Hop 2 could be a problem, that's likely the de-prirotization you're talking about. Hop 3 and beyond looks terrible and needs to be addressed by Verizon.

Agreed, Either Register at dslreports.com and post your issue here Verizon Direct
Or get on twitter, and dm the Verizon support group there.

The funny thing is I go through some of the same servers with no probem. My own connection is clearly to a server in the same farm. I would think it may be something wrong with that server or pehaps even earlier.

I think that might be dependant on time of day. He's indicating there is good and bad times.
So when he's having a problem then you might as well if you're hitting those routers.
The rule of thumb with latency and packet loss in a traceroute is that if it's real, then it continue's forward and either sustains or grows on subsequent hops.
we normally see spikes around here, we don't normally see sustained latency on hop after hop after hop.
That's what makes me think above is legit.
