Thanks for posting everyone! I have DSL in 19018 Clifton Heights / Aldan and woke up all ready to pay some bills and could not access. Did router re-boot ... laptop re-boot... called verizon and was put on perpetual hold for 1/2 hour and never did get to speak to someone. Hoping it is fixed by the time I get home! I don't understand why Verizon doesn't let you plug in a zip code on an automated system to check and see if there is a problem in the area. they do it for residential phone lines... sheesh.

I hit this issue at around 12am EST and immediately called support since I couldn't work on my client. After 45 minutes on the phone with a Tier 1 person who kept trying to blame my linksys router (no clue why they always INSIST it's my linksys) I finally started doing Tracerte's to various sites to Prove to him it was an outage somewhere OTHER than my Linksys. I was extremely frustrated and wasted 45 minutes on line with Verizon Support.
At least when I got up this morning the issue was resolved....

I experienced this issue yesterday morning however by early afternoon and throughout the evening it appeared to have resolved itself. Today (4/11/2012) however is a different story. The connection seems to drop about every 20-30 seconds and give out just long enough to stop responding and become extremely annoying, but not long enough to completely drop (i.e.. Router offline).
Using my home VOIP (non-Verizon) phone has become impossible and any type of remote desktop connections are nearly unusable. I called tech support and they are sending me a new router (overnight) however I'm highly skeptical that will fix the issue.

I have been having the same problem as the poster above. Connection drops to a crawl for a few minutes and them goes back to normal. I am trying to work from home today and it is impossible to do anything.
