Can the USB port(s) on the router be used for external drive access like Netgears readyshare?

if you're running the Vz provided Westell A90-9100 series router, then according to the user guide RE the USB port:
Connects the Router to peripheral devices (e.g. storage) via USB. Note: This
port may not be enabled in all UltraLine Series3 units.
Dunno what the Ultraline series3 is or how to identify it. It also doesn't give any clue on how to use/access anything connected to that port and what its storage for? Try plugging a flash drive in to it and go online to the router and see what you can see? Looking through all the router settings, I didn't see anything that would help me figure out how to use/access that port.

No.
@Roadking - Just because a manufacturer's web site lists something as an available option, does not mean that VZ's firmware supports it.

From what I've seen the actual USB driver on the routers is being loaded, so in theory, they should be working. Verizon does not have USB functionality enabled fully in their firmware, so the ports are only good for drawing power from at the moment.
