Upload speed much greater then download speed, Please Help

So my upload speed is much greater then my download speed. This test was performed over Wifi. I understand the performance isn't going to be as great as it would be if it was wired. But the outcome of the test doesn't make any sense. Can anyone help me to understand why there's such a discrepancy in downloading and uploading?

Thank you,

Todd

When on wireless it could be anything. Network congestion/the server you are connecting to could be congested, neighborhood channel congestion, could simply be your network card, etc..
If you havent done it yet, try changing the routers channel to another one then what its on. 1, 6 or 11 and try the test again. It may or may not improve it or it may at least level it out. I can't use ch 6 where I live or I'll get really bad speeds because everyone and their mother seems to be on it in my neighborhood.

I doubt it is isolated to wireless tranmission since the upload speed is good. has you run the fios optimizer tool? if not go to speedtest.verizon.net and after you run the speedtest there is a link to download the fios speed optimizer
