VERY slow internet ... just after a visit from a representative!

Hi,

A representative came two days ago at home, asking if you want TV and other services. I have ONLY internet service, nothing else. I said I did not want anything. Since she left, she connection speed is HORRIBLE. I cannot even stream a song on Pandora!

So, as verizon customer service is SOOOO GREAT (no e-mail, yay!), I am asking here:

1. Why does this happen (area: 15218)?

2. When it will be resolved

3. What do you offer in compensation. Having such a connection is just not normal and you should not deliver such a bad service.

IF you want peer to peer help we would need more info.  Service type FIOS  50/50? DSL 5/2? etc.  or conact Verizon as Elizabeth S suggested.

Thanks for the support Verizon! I cannot call today as I am at work. The only other possibility is this forum ....

So, in addition to a poor service, we also have poor customer service ...

To TNS_2: what if I cannot contact Verizon by phone? Verizon is not supposed to offer support through the communication medium it provides to its customer? I have Verizon internet, why they cannot provide support through this medium? I have to also opt for the phone service to get support, this is why you are telling me?

If you click on the link at the bottom of the page where it says contact us, you'll be given a chance to open a chat window and speak with verizon techs. .  Hope that helps.

You can also go to dslreports.com and post in the Verizon Direct forum where Verizon reps work with you directly. No one else can see the thread you post besides you and Verizon so it's a private conversation.

They do have some other means BUT NOT THIS FORUM.  See the "Contact us" options on each of the pages.  One of the options is a web chat.  But most options to be useful in your case require you to be near your equipment.

Remember if the person you are talking to doesn't have a Verizon logo attached to their post, e.g. see Elizabeth S post, they are not a verizon employee.  And their are very few Verizon Technical people on these forums.
