Verizon's Customer Service Is The worst

Let me start by saying I was late with a payment and my service was suspended for a day I made the full payment over the phone yesterday at 8am . The automated service told me service should be back on within an hour . An hour passed no cable I make the first dreaded call to verizon 37 minutes on hold to be told it's the weekend and it will take at least 24 hours to restore my service 24 hours pass still no TV I call once again and sit on hold only to have a very rude girl named Misty on the phone who tells me now I would have to wait until Monday morning to talk to financial services the payment on my account is showed as payed but not processed ( excuse me ? ) so I have a zero balance you took my money out of my debit card but it's not processed and I still have no service . I ask for her supervisor and she hangs up on me . I call back this morning to see if there is any update and I am now told I can't have my service back till Tuesday because financial services is closed Monday for Memorial Day and they are the only ones that can put the order to restore for me through . So it's now been three days still no cable and I ordered time warner now at least they work the weekends . I am done with Fios !

I would rather downgrade and pay less then deal with Fios customer service again

Hi DawnMichelle,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
