Verizon's internet security and troubleshooting services

I am not happy with another company's antivirus and PC troubleshooting service. I want to change to VZ. What is the best way to go about making the change. Do I drop the other company's services first before adding VZ's services, or vice versus?

Switching companies may very well be a waste of your time.  Read these forums first.  I believe that there is little difference in cable companies.  None of them give very good service.  I f you can get help on the forums, that is the way to go!   I have been helped here by many very kind and knowledgeable people.

My advice would be to first try to get in touch with the highest person in the company that you can reach.  That is when the problem gets solved!!! I write to the CEO.  Verizon has a new one now, but Mr. Seidenberg's office solved problems for me.

If you must change, I would get the new company before canceling the old one, so you aren't without service.

If you have the Verizon in-home agent, see what they have to say about it. Security is such a broad term now

and involves encryption types, firewalls, scans and much more. Today, badvertising, malware and phishing

are more frequent than virus infections.

If that doesn't help, try your local VZ store, they helped us a great deal. Good luck!
