I had setup Wake On WAN as detailed in dslreports FAQ (http://www.dslreports.com/faq/16041) some time ago and tested it successfully using dslreports web page (http://www.dslreports.com/wakeup). I tried it again yesterday and it is not working any more from a remote computer, although it still works from a device on my LAN when I am at home. I have verified that all hardware and router configs are still in place and so is the ARP table entry for mac address ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff . When I was previously testing this from a remote computer using dslreports web page I could see the wakeup attempt logged in the security log of the router, but I do not see that either.
Can someone please suggest a way to check if the wakeup attempt is reaching the router or if it is getting filtered by any rule setup on the router?
