I am now being contacted by someone else from verizons team the Verizon VNS team. I will keep you guys posted on what progresses.

I was just contacted by someone else who said they are going to contact the vendor of the routers directly. Im assuming that is Actiontec and Westell. We will see how they handle the problems that have been around since that beginning of these routers being distributed.

I have this exact same problem, and replacemnt routers, replacement ONTs are all VZ can do. They've told me to remove everything and add one device at a time. Looks like I might be going the route of redo'ing my Linksys WRT54G. That and my Earthlink DSL were rock solid for years (except when VZ copper upstream had issues). FiOS is faster no doubt, but this constant near daily lock up is killing me.
