Who can tell me about availability in Philadelphia?!?

[ Edited ]

We desperately want to dum {please keep your posts courteous}cast and go with FiOS.  We had FiOS at our old house all of SIX BLOCKS AWAY!  Now it is unavailable, but it was supposed to be available a year ago.  Where can I get info on when it will be coming?  Did they stop the rollout in Philadelphia altogether?

Someone has to know...and please dont direct me to those **bleep** lists of street names.

thanks

Jon

Do any immediate neighbors have FiOS? As far as I'm aware Pittsburgh is still being built out, but at a very slow rate. If there are Fiber Distribution Hubs within a block or two from your home and you have the proper cabling up on the poles, I'd imagine it should be obtainable.

FTTP Construction Locations (PA specific)

FiOS Installation Process

Unfortunately, I think this is the best you'll get.  I know you don't like them, but It's all that is published .

Here is a PA Contact list, it might be a good starting point if you don't like the PDF with the streets that are on schedule.
