Worst Mistake Ever - I want Comcast back

Just switched to Verizon Fios this weekend.  Worst mistake ever.  All I heard was how great Fios is and their customer support.  Took me an hour to find a phone number , the support person could not help, then they send me an update with an incorrect web address to check on the update.  I will give it another week, but if not then I am gone and will find a way to break this stupid contract due to such poor level of service.

Good luck Mike, Verizons customer service is terrible and they have no idea how to fix anything! Take my advice and go back to comcast. At least Comcast has some decent tech support verizon has none.

This is a peer-to-peer forum where fellow users volunteer to help other users solve issues.  Of course that means that the problem must be described in terms that permit a solution.  Why not state your specific issues here in concise terms with full documentation, and then perhaps one of the volunteers (there are many qualified volunteers here) will be able to help?

"Poor level of service" doesn't give folks much to go on.

If you do end up staying (as I would recommend) you need to learn the steps to get to upper tiers of service. I used to have DSL and frequently had issues. I got to the point where I knew what to say to get issues escalated; and eventuallly resolved. I hung in and at this point I only pay $5.00/ month more for rock solid FIOS 4.8 Mb/s / 4.0 Mbs compared to spottly DSL .75/.50. Another great place to get help is http://www.dslreports.com/forum/vzfiber
