Youtube is totally unwatchable.

I've had FIOS for a week, and been unable to watch Youtube videos.  They barely buffer, if they buffer at all.  Youtube worked fine over my previous ISP's connection, which was a tenth of my current speeds.  This is the case on all different machines in my home, including two different desktops and two different laptops.   I have tried both wireless and wired connections.  Even at the same time that Youtube fails to buffer, I can get HD streams from Netflix, Amazon, or any other similar source.  There is plenty of bandwith available.

I found some advice here: http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-Internet/having-Youtube-probs-with-Fios-I-have-an-official-VZ-answ... and followed the steps but it has made no impact.

Any advice would be great.  I work in IT, so lay it on me in as complicated terms as you'd like.

The most important thing to note is that you have a 30 day money back guarantee which includes installation fees. If you signed up for a two year contract or whatever, don't expect to get out of that with ease if you're not happy later on.

This is a recurring issue with Verizon and they seem like one of the worst offenders. In my area, they average 8.66mbit to YouTube while Comcast averages 14.60mbit. Just when you think things are improving, they get worse again. None of my friends in the area on Comcast ever complain about YouTube running like junk.

Same here.

Real shame... I literally hated Road Runner and Optium online, I loved Verizon Fios till about last week when YouTube buffering literally went {word filter avoidance}...

My speed is always as advertised or greater, I can also stream Netflix in HD, just YouTube does not want to cooperate. idk what to do..
