When will there be an Android client that allows FIOS customers to use Verizon wifi hot spots with a registered logon?

This is almost a timeless question, unfortunately. It's been suggested to Verizon to simply make the Wi-Fi hotspots accessible to anything with a Web Browser, since these days a client should never be needed for Wi-FI unless you're using Enterprise-grade security on the network (meaning: Encryption). Hotspots don't need this, they're connect and off you go.
