When I tried to activate my second ROKU unit - it said after scan that it did not detect wifi. I then entered in the PRIVATE NETWORK name and P/W - same thing.
I've spent 7 or 8 hours trying to set-up this thing - & now I quit. YOU BEAT ME!
ROKU tech support said to ask my internet service provider to verify wireless password - I did and it was correct. Next they suggested me to change my wireless channel to avoid wireless channel congestion: change wireless channel to 1, 6 or 11 (prevents interference).
I have an ActionTec wireless router (M1424 WR - rev. 1)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I assume by your title you have 1 Roku connected and are trying to connect a second?
If that is true, can you move the one with a problem to the same location as the one that conencts and see if you can connect from there. If so, could be a WIFI coverage issue where the 2nd Roku is located.

that roku 2, does it see ANY network at all? your neighbors you, anyone?
if it doesn't then that's a problem with the roku and you should exchange for anew one.
you should be able to see yourself, and all youir neighbors -
