Do you know if you are using WEP or WPA for entering your wireless password?

I suggest you use WPA as it is more secure than the default WEP that comes with the Verizon FIOS Router.

If you need further instructions please drop a line.

The recommendation is to go to WPA2 if possible.  I believe the A version of the most common Verizon router only supports WPA.

Then the thing on the e-reader is to match the various settings.  WPA2/wpa/wep passphrase/password etc.  SSID, and if SSID is not broadcast you need to fill that in as well.   Some people also have MAC restrictions enabled, which then means the MAC of the e-reader must be entered into the router.
