i reset my router and cant log in with this  user: admin 

                                                                        password: password 

and i did try password 1

You should be logging into the router at 192.168.1.1, not your WAN IP address.

After a hard reset, the router should prompt you to enter a user name and password.

well he could log into his ip directly if he enabled remote administration.  That would have to be done from your location on site, after logging into the 192.168.1.1 and then going to advanced and then remote access/administration.

Is that what you are trying to do?  are you offsite trying to log into your router?
