I bought a second actiontec MI424WR router so I could improve the wireless network in my house, but I am having trouble getting it connected to the internet.
When I hook it up, the 'Internet' light is solid orange. I read that I could fix this using the Verizon In-Home Agent as follows:
Internet -> Network and Wireless Setup -> Setup Replacement FIOS Router
However, when I select 'Setup Replacement Router', I get the following error: "One of the components required to run this functionality is currently being installed. Please try again after a few minutes".
I waited an hour and still got the same message. I also restarted my PC.
1. Is there a way to fix that error message from the In Home Agent?
2. If the in-home Agent wont work, is there another way for me to get my new router connected to the internet?
Thank you!

How are you connecting the second router?
You can't simply connect it to the coax and expect it to work.
Only one router can get a WAN connection from the ONT.
If you have cat5 between the two routers, follow these instructions:
Can I use my wireless or an extra router along with the Verizon provided router?
If you have only coax between the two routers, follow these instructions:
