Bumping.

If I want to watch Doctor Who in HD, I have to buy the episode from Amazon HD to get it.  Maybe I should call and downgrade my video package with FIOS to offset that cost?

Its been coming soon for at least two years.  There are hints it may finally be added this fall, but we will not know for sure until they make it available or decide to make an official announcement.

DirecTV just added BBCA-HD and beIN sports to it's line-up (among other channels). They already outclass FiOS in HD content, my contract is up in October and they are looking mightly good now. I am sick and tired of WAITING for Verizon to add english language HD content, they have added NOTHING in almost 2 years (those two baseball channels do not count).

But hey while I am still here I can continue to ignore those waste of valuable QAM space SIX .tv channels, that no other cable company on the face of the earth carries (because nobody watches them).

H2 HD will be added to digital starter and digital economy channel 910
Bloomberg HD will be added to digital starter channel 916
BBC America HD will be added to digital starter channel 920
National Geographic Wild HD will be added to digital preferred channel 922
Fox Soccer will be added to Sports & Entertainment Package channel 924

Let me second the request for BBC America HD and BeinSport 1 and 2. The way I see it, satellite people are satellite people. I'd love to threaten to switch to DirecTV for better content (especially in HD), but who am I kidding? I had DirecTV and I hated it. Call me crazy, but I like to be able to watch TV when it's rainy and windy outside.

Point being, especially with BeinSports, Verizon is missing a huge opportunity to be the only non-satellite provider in America showing the best futbol league on the planet.
