Hello,
I would really like to have the Babyfirst channel...I know Comcast provides that channel with any package. I think Verizon customers should be able to have access to this channel as well as its the only channel that provides infants with educational television.

I am on the Preferred plan with Verizon and I feel as though Verizon should provide all channels Comcast provides; even if it needs to be a special request. Comcast is Verizons biggest compettitor and with that being said I should have no problems getting channels I request!

Few comments:
1) No provider gives you that option. There are channels that Verizo has that Comcast does not. They don't offer the option to get those.
2) It costs a cable provider money to provide a channel. They have to pay for hardware to connect to the content provider. I have to believe that is not cheap. If only a few customers want it, would you be willing to pays $$ for it?
3) Content providers to not provide contracts that all for single viewers (groupled as a la carte). They need the income provided by charging for everyone that subscribes to the packages their channels are carried in.

It does not work that way and CROB is absolutely correct.

I have a 9 month old and plan to keep her on the Baby first programing for a while. We plan on having another kid in a few years. I am currently witth FIOS for for phone and internet and the only thing holding me back from a complete transfer is this channel. Based on 1 channel they have lost revenue for years ( because we watched beforehand for almost 2 years to make sure that is what we approve for a newborn). Add it and more revenue to FIOS and less for Directv. I know i'm not the only one too.
