Hi. Does ayone know if the FIOS DVR record more than 1 show at a time? Thanks for any info

The DVR has 2 tuners and can record 2 shows at the same time.  Keep in mind that if you are recording 2 shows you can't watch a 3rd show live, you can however watch an already recorded show.

wow that is horrible news, i just moved from UVerse (ATT only phone company in my area) to a new home that is only Verizon's area. UVerse could do 4 HD streams at the same time on one DVR. oh well i guess its better than time warner, but you would think they would upgrade to better DVR boxes that could accomidate the huge bandwidth that fiber optic to the house allows.

Reports are they are working on some different DVR's and whole house servers, but full details are not available.  For now they are still using 2 tuner DVR's.
