Channel Guide Showing "new" or "repeat/rerun"

Will/does the channel guide show if a show is "new" or "repeat?"   Somehow the system knows this information because it won't record a show that's a repeat.

If you look at the detailed information for a show (hit INFO button while on the show in question while in the guide) you will see a NEW indicator or none if it is a repeat.  Be aware that the FiOS guide is notorious for marking or not marking this flag correctly (many syndicated series like Seinfeld always are flagged as new :smileysurprised: )..
