There are many channels on the guide where nothing matches at all when you tune in to those channels so i will list some of them for those of you at verizon who can pass this on to the proper group who can correct these issues. Some of those channels are 1506 television dominicana, 1507 supercanal, 1704 tv chile, 477 soy latino tv are channels where nothing matches at all. 1662 telehit has a bunch of concerts that are on that are not listed at 6pm that repeat later on that night and the next day too that are not listed there. Channels 477, 481, 482 have no logos plus channels 1509 tele el salvador, 1548 dominican view and 1781 have no schedules at all. 108 abc news now is wrong a lot of the time. From what i can tell channels 1506, 1507, 1704 are all off by an hour but nothing on channel 477 matches at all no matter what time of the day it is.

Now you can add a few more channels to the ongoing list of things that are wrong with your guide as you now have five channels with either no logos or the wrong ones where it makes no sense to not try to address the issue when the logos are the easiest thing that can be corrected. For the record channels 477, 481, 482 and now 462 estrella tv have no logos where the correct logo for channel 463 estrella tv is now listed on channel 465 antenna tv where estrella tv is a channel that is all in spanish while antenna tv is a channel that is about programs from a long time ago like alfred hitchcock presents and the jack benny show.

Wow. As usual verizon fios continues to let people down by not providing the most accurate up to date data. The floyd mayweather vs miguel cotto fight that was on last saturday night that cost people $65 in sd and $70 in hd was always something that was set up to be broadcast again the following saturday after the fight had aired live but you would not know that if you were to actually take a look at the verizon fios guide as the fight is nowhere to be found. Instead on may 12, 2012 at 10:15pm what you will have listed there on hbo according to the guide is a owen wilson movie called hall pass which will not be there. What will be there is the mayweather vs cotto replay of that fight from the previous saturday night that was on pay per view along with an actual live fight between shane mosley and canelo alvarez. Now the mayweather vs cotto fight is still listed as something that can be rented for $65 in sd or $70 hd if you were to press the on demand button on the fios remote where you will see it along with the latest movies that you can rent on demand. Now if verizon is doing this intentionally to try to get people to pay after the fact for the fight then shame on verizon, but if this is another example of guide data simply being wrong then that is par for the course as far as verizon's continuing ongoing guide issues that they have yet to address. To not be aware of the issues is one thing, but to be aware of the issues and not do a thing to fix the problems is a whole other thing that reflects poorly on verizon.

The guide keeps getting worse with each day that passes. Now there are at least seven channels that have no logos for them and verizon has yet to do anything about it as it appears that they have no problem at all letting their entire guide continue to not match the content that appears on it. Now if this has anything to do with the legal action that was taken against verizon where they have been ordered to remove all of their widgets, alter their on demand and make changes to the guide then what is going on is only a prelude of what is to come as verizon has until may 23, 2012 to make those changes or face even more legal action from active video. For the record channels 462 estrella tv, 464 exito tv (which used to be universal sports) , 476 bounce tv, 477 soy latino tv, 481 WRNN Rise (which is Al Jazeera English), NHK World 482 all have no logos and channel 465 antenna tv has the logo of estrella tv channel 462. More and more issues to continue to pop up every single day where verizon has made no efforts at all to try to fix the issues.

Well someone is paying attention and trying to help with some of the issues that exist with the service. I see that the mayweather vs cotto fight is now on the guide on hbo on saturday night instead of that owen wilson movie that was listed. Someone also fixed a couple of chanels i mentioned that were missing their logos but 5 other channels are having those same issues too. Channels 462, 477, 481, 482 have no logos and channel 465 antenna tv has the logo of channel 462 estrella tv. Nothing matches on channels 1507 and 477 while you still have no schedules for channels 1509, 1548, 1781. If you were to go to any online guide provider and put in an area code where there is fios you will see that there is a specific breakdown of programs for those channels with the names of the shows that should be there. If you go to the zap 2 it website and click on tv listings then click on change my location where then you would put in an area code where there is fios tv and choose the verizon location that is closest to your area you will see what the fios guide should look like as opposed to what is on the inaccurate guide. The guide is missing a series of concerts that are on all month long on channel 1662 telehit where at 6pm, 10pm and other times the concerts are not listed there for people to watch or tape. 1664 ritmoson is also having similar type issues where some of those concerts are there but a lot of other programs are not. If you were to go to the site that i menitoned to verify this you would see that there are schedules for 1509 and 1548 while also seeing that 1507 is all wrong plus shows like what's the buzz on abc news now channel 108 which claims to be a texas travel show is really a celebrity entertainment show if you were to click on the show at 1:15pm or 7pm. These are issues that affect everyone nationally and are not local problems so you should try to fix these problems along with some other things like cnn espanol channel 1540's 11am show not being there or the cnn channel 100 being wrong on tuesdays in the morning. People besides verizon customers and verizon employees have the ability to look at your forums even though they may not be able to comment on them and they do take into whether verizon seeks to correct things for their customers or not before they consider wanting to sign up with verizon fios. They also take into account whether you have certain channels before they decide to consider verizon fios for being their tv provider. One of those channels is canal sur peru where people have googled "sur peru fios" so many times that it immediately comes up as a suggestion but verizon does not have that channel even though all of their competitors like comcast, cablevision, time warner, and direct tv do have it.

I hope that those of you at verizon who can do something about the ongoing guide problems but choose not to do a thing about them where you leave it up to the customers to try to resolve these matters on behalf of the company and all the rest of the customers are not getting paid for your reluctance to want to assist people with issues with the guide where by now everyone who has fios for their tv are well aware of this problem and verizon's apathy that exists when it comes to correcting the issues at hand. The 1.91 IMG release that verizon has started to release (where new jersey and philladelphia are the next ones who will be getting it) is not going to correct all of the problems that exist with the guide where some of the bugs with the current 1.9 IMG will get corrected, but the fact that you have schedules that do not match the content that is playing on a lot of channels will not be corrected just like that as it is something that can be corrected by contacting a channel, contacting your guide provider or by verizon doing what it is that you are supposed to do when it is that you are made aware of these issues which is to contact your guide provider yourselves. FYI is making your company look really bad by having so much data on the guide that is not up to date and while it is mostly their fault verizon is also at fault for not making that company aware of a lot of the ongoing issues with specific updates about the problems that exist. Now i know that you guys are currently in a battle with another company who claims that you infringed on their technology but that is no excuse to not do the simplest of things which is to pass on to your guide provider the problems that exist with your guide. That company active video who verizon lost a lawsuit to says they will not just settle for a financial settlement as their goal is to see to it that there is no longer a fios tv for anyone to watch programs on. Google "Turn Off Verizon's Fios Active Video Says" to see that their goal is to shut down the entire fios network where it was revealed that cablevision who is an active video partner is pushing active video hard to see to it that there will no longer be fios tv. May 23 is the date where active video claims it wants fios tv off the air and if it is still up they will take more legal action. As far as some of the inaccurate data goes with the guide there is a lot more to be added to the ongoing mess that i and a lot of other people have already pointed out so i will not go into too much of it since i have given you enough on here to work with even though very little of it has been corrected. Tonight there is a game 7 basketball game that is on between the LA Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies but when you take a look at the guide it is nowhere to be found. Instead after i did a little search online i found that it is supposed to be on TNT tonight but what is listed there instead is a nicolas cage movie called "Con Air." There are plenty of examples that i can give but you have enough on here where channels 1507 & 477 never match plus channels 462, 477, 481, 482 have no logos at all where what the logo is for channel 462 is on channel 465 which has the wrong logo for it. Channels 1662 & 1664 are still missing a lot of their concert series while blackbelt tv channel 319 once again has no schedule at all for the next 2 weeks starting on monday at 12am.

Oops. I meant to say that the lakers are playing against the denver nuggets not the memphis grizzlies in a pivotal game 7 that is on tonight. I still stand by everything else that i said in my post as it is all 100% accurate unlike the verizon fios guide. The one thing that is consistent about the guide is that it always is inconsistent.
