Trying to post on this forum to try and help get us back our Funimation Channel and in HD
I'm going to continue to post on this forum and other forums to show how I want Funimation back.
Lets not contain ourselves in one place. Lets spread this discussion to other forums like a virus.

Verizon, what are you thinking?! It’s painful enough that you take Funimation away but then you go and taunt us by what you offer on VOD!! It’s supposed to be about 42 hours a month of programming but what do you offer? You only have twelve episodes, which equals about 5 hours worth of programming and what does that consist of: 3 episodes will be removed on May 25th, 3 episodes will be removed on May 24th and none of the shows start with episode one! Who wants to watch a show from the middle?! You just put these shows on VOD, so why in the world would you remove them less than a week later?! Are you deliberately trying to hurt us?! How can you care so little about your customers?! While I had Funimation I endured your lagging internet service that goes down constantly for no reason. I endured the static in my phone. But now they are unbearable! Please, please bring Funimation back!!!!!!!!!

Oh, ssteele, you are so right!!! Their service now is just like any other if not worse! I can go through the channels 3 and 4 times and not find anything to put on in the background, let alone find something to watch! It’s absolutely horrible! They could put on every Disney, CN and Nick channel in this world and it wouldn’t make a difference but they’re too blind to see it!! Funimation is in a league of its own!!!! Since Verizon won’t listen to us perhaps we should be petitioning other providers to put Funimation on instead! Regardless, I will follow Funimation to whichever provider is smart enough to air it!!

I couldn't agree with you more. There really is nothing to watch on TV. My kids and I stay up and watch Teen Titans on 258, but we really look forward to nothing else.
Funimation is a station that caters to an extraordinary genre of animation. Verizon now has nothing unique to offer its viewers. I am with Kim here. I think I may write a letter of inquiry to Comcast *shudder* about adding Funimation. The first company locally, whether it is cable or Satt that carries funimation will have my business for sure! I am terribly disappointed in Verizon and its poor decision to remove Funi. From this forum and other blogs all over the net, Funimation was a well watched station with thousands of loyal fans! There has to be more of us than tennis fans and they got their station back! Come Verizon, support anime, its fans and Japanese culture! Not everyone is up for tasteless, lame untalented Disney drivel. Shut down the Disney machine and air quality entertainment (FUNIMATION) that a kid might actually learn something positive from!

I found myself going to 262 absent mindedly last night. It made me angry all over again.

One of the reasons I chose Fios over Cablevision was because of the Funimation Channel. It was amazing having access to 24-hour anime. I miss it terribly and would really love Verizon to add it back to the lineup. Hopefully they will hear enough voices to realize their original claims of low viewership were wrong.

I joined FIOS about 3 years ago from the Inland Empire area. Initially I only chose to stay verizon because of two things it looked better and the Funimation Channel. There is no way I will pay money for FIOS if they have no Funimation Channel, I made a big deal about this when I first got the Channel. There are others who offer fiber optic in my area, besides the TV Guide and remote are the worst there has ever been and the major changes that have occurred over the last three years in general have not been an improvement but a bigger reason why I need to go to the major competitor. I will state this since many others feel the sameway without the funimation channel, fios is nothing special and hopefully they will lose money for being less than intellegent, I will not be returning to fios. Besides did you know that you can watch most funimation shows at the website. I don't need fios All other good channels are found in every provider, except for the rare Anime Channel.

I could totally explain the low amount of viewers on the funimation channel, since FIOS doesn't seem to understand. Funimation is Anime, anime is huge in America, and so many other major countries. Half of the youth in America loves Anime. Now what happeneds is that other channels like MTV, Cartoon Network, and other awesome channels that are offered by every service provider take viewers away from funimation, but here is the catch. Despite what the statistics might show, the rarity of the funimation channel in addition to the love that America's youth has for Anime leads to protestive posts and loss of money due to the cancellation of this rare channel. In otherwords it doesn't matter how many people watch, those who love anime go and watch their anime everywhere not just on the tv. And the minute you take it off, we will dislike whomever is responsible. Therefore the very person who gave us this rare channel fios, will become the target of dislike, hopefully you will feel the wrath because people who like anime just want it there to see every once in a while and by taking it off, they will go to someone else regardless of whether they have an anime channel or not, the point is to dislike fios because they took it off.
